RAFT Symposium

RAFT Symposium is an interactive opportunity for educators to develop instructional strategies for using hands-on activities and integrated curricula to effectively engage students, enhance academic content, and deliver lessons that stick! Unpack the Character of Costume

Get ready: Star Wars and the Power of Costume is coming to the Denver Art Museum! In this session, find inspiration in the Denver Art Museum’s world art collection to create a costume for a character from literature or your imagination, and find out how to make this activity work with your students.
Artist-inspired Art Installations
Tuesday, July 12, 1pm – 4pm
Get inspired by artists’ process to create a plan for a site-specific art installation at your school. Using design thinking principles and ideas and techniques from artists featured at the Denver Art Museum, you will find new ways to invigorate your school campus and your students’ creativity.
